Terms of Service — Miratints

1. Introduction

Welcome to Miratints ("the Service"), operated by Go Nakamura ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Miratints mobile and web applications. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Overview

Miratints is a fashion analytics platform. We use AI to analyze outfits in photos you upload — detecting items, colors, patterns, and brands — and aggregate the results into trend insights at the neighborhood, country, and global level. The Service includes a mobile app, a public web profile at miratints.com/u/<username>, and a Pro analytics dashboard at insights.miratints.com.

3. Account Registration

You may create an account using your email address and a password, or by signing in with Apple or Google. We may require you to verify your email before granting full access. You must meet the minimum age for your region — 13 in most regions, or 16 in the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Australia — verified against the birthdate you provide at sign-up. You may only create one account per person, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Two-factor authentication (TOTP or email one-time code) is available in Settings and is strongly recommended.

4. Content You Post

You retain ownership of the photos, captions, and other content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, analyze, display, and aggregate your content into anonymized trend data for the duration of your account.• Photos you publish are visible to other users according to your posting settings. If you prefer not to show your face, consider using photos that do not include it.• You may save photos as drafts that only you can see; drafts are still scanned for analytics.• You must own the rights to the content you post, or have the right-holder's permission.

5. Prohibited Conduct

The following are not allowed:• Harassing, threatening, or impersonating other users• Posting illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful content• Spam, bulk promotion, or coordinated inauthentic behavior• Attempting to bypass rate limits, security gates, or the onboarding flow• Scraping the Service or accessing the API outside the published clients• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or interfering with the Service• Uploading malware or content containing tracking pixels

6. AI Analysis

Your uploaded images are processed by AI to extract fashion metadata. We use external AI services for this analysis; the specific service providers are listed in our Privacy Policy. AI output (item categories, dominant colors, patterns, style scores, and AI-generated captions) is stored on your account and used to produce anonymized regional and global trend aggregates. AI is statistical and may be wrong — you should treat results as suggestions, not facts.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features (full trend rankings, longer time ranges, Hashtag Insights, AI caption assist) require a paid plan: Basic or Pro. Subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe for the web app, according to the payment method you choose. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. To cancel or change a paid plan, use the subscription settings of the store you signed up with (Apple ID / Google account / Stripe portal); we do not have direct control over those entitlements. Refunds follow the policy of the platform you paid through.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. We aim to comply with applicable laws, including Japan's APPI, the EU GDPR, and the California CCPA. Please review the Privacy Policy alongside these Terms.

9. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes when possible. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of AI output, or specific results from using the Service.

10. Account Suspension and Deletion

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or community guidelines. You may delete your account at any time from Settings — most data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. transaction records). Usernames carry a 30-day cooldown after a change, and certain inactive usernames may be reclaimed.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and Go Nakamura agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court for the first instance of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

12. Controlling Language

These Terms may be made available in multiple languages for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail and be the governing text.
